An honor to be releasing this incredibly profound and beautifully poignant full length collection, presented here within our traditional deluxe gatefold CD format. Featuring an interior landscape art exclusive to the CD format, drawn by Bluttanzt of the Dolomite Mountains.

After a long and quiet time of reflection, novemthree emerges from the thicket to offer Storms of Memory, their first musical release since their 2014 split-album with Sangre de Muerdago entitled Braided Paths, and their first full length album since the 2012 release of Renewing.

The songs on Storms of Memory document a four-year journey of recording, split between the locales of the Salish Sea of the Pacific Northwest and the driftless area of the Northern Midwest, with the conceptual roots of the songs originating in a series of live performances that occurred between 2013 and 2018.

On Storms of Memory, Severin Marshall-Dunlavey and Michael Korchonnoff have sought a deeper exploration of novemthree's characteristic blend of acoustic folk songwriting and layered ambient textures, weaving a sonic tapestry of stringed instruments, varied percussion, flutes, woodwinds, and vocal harmonies with the invaluable help of several friends from their musical community.
