BLOOD OF THE BLACK OWL (2 Releases Out of Print)

Wanted to let you all know both the debut "Self Titled" full length album and the vinyl 12" split with Celestiial are now SOLD OUT through Glass Throat Recordings direct. Also, both releases are now officially OUT OF PRINT through the label as well. The debut full length is now available as a high quality digital release through the label here: http://bindrunerecordings.bandcamp.com/

I can safely say that when and if the debut full length is ever to be made available again, the 2nd pressing will exclusively honor the vinyl format ONLY! Time will tell...It's up to you.

Wow, I'm glad I snagged the s/t when I found it a few months ago then! Listening to it for the first time right now, very feral and atmospheric sound. Totally different than what I expected (I read it was funeral doom metal O.o) but I'm getting blown away and it gets better by the minute. Needless to say it's perfect for the mood I'm in. I'll try to write a review soon.

Next step: putting in an order to GTR :)

OK after hearing the entire s/t CD, I understand the funeral doom association :) The spirit is almost one of black metal though, lots of aggression and rough edges. I think the ambient shamanic passages left the greatest impression on me simply for the sharp contrast, but you had my attention the full 70 minutes. Overall a very cathartic (much belated) listening experience; thank you, Chet, for crafting it!

Hey Ben, thank you for taking such time and appreciation towards the craft. Humbled and deeply honored! Turns out Bindrune Recordings has a few copies left of the vinyl split with Celestiial. I will be making all the Black Owl releases available through the Glass Throat digital store very soon as well.
